Hosted by Coastal Stay. Welcome to the Moody Maison Studio, a beautifully designed studio retreat in the Walnut Complex. Thoughtfully curated with warm earthy tones, luxe finishes, and cozy touches throughout, this ground-floor studio is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Traverse City. Designed for up to 2 guests and 1 infant, the space offers comfort, convenience, and an elevated boutique-style experience close to everything Northern Michigan has to offer.

This studio can be reserved together with the townhouse upstairs to host a total of 9 people!

We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $125 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs 50 lbs each are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and 'retired' towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.

Quiet hours begin at 9pm, and no unauthorized parties are allowed to ensure a peaceful neighborhood setting.

This is a ground-floor unit, and neighboring units are located above and beside the studio, so some noise may occasionally be heard.

The open studio layout features a plush queen bed with crisp linens, a cozy sitting area with a leather sofa, and warm ambient lighting that creates a relaxing and intimate atmosphere.

A smart TV and thoughtfully selected décor add to the elevated feel of the space. Families traveling with little ones will appreciate the included Pack ‘n Play and high chair for added convenience.

The modern bathroom features a sleek walk-in shower with dramatic tile work, gold fixtures, and a spacious vanity. Soft towels and essential toiletries are provided to help you settle in comfortably.

A washer/dryer combo is also included in the unit, along with complimentary laundry supplies for guest use.

The stylish kitchenette is fully equipped for preparing simple meals and snacks during your stay. Featuring rich walnut cabinetry, modern appliances, butcher block countertops, and a beautiful tile backsplash, the kitchen blends functionality with design. Guests can enjoy a coffee station, microwave, stove top, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, and essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

(Currently not available) Garage: Best for medium-size vehicles or smaller. If you’re bringing a large vehicle, we recommend using one of the following nearby parking options below!

Street parking may be available on Walnut St.—be sure to follow all posted signage and avoid areas marked with “No Parking.” Please note that overnight street parking is restricted by city ordinance during certain months.

You may also consider using the Hardy Parking Structure Garage (303 E State St, Traverse City) or Old Town Parking Structure (125 E Eighth St, Traverse City)

ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.

☆☆Accidents Happen — We’ve Got You Covered☆☆
We understand that sometimes small accidents happen while traveling. That’s why your booking includes a $250 accidental damage waiver, built directly into your stay.

If something minor gets damaged during your visit, please let us know right away. We’ll take care of it so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Please note: The waiver applies to accidental damage only and does not cover intentional damage, missing items, rule violations, or excessive mess.

• Check-in/out: Early check-ins and late check-outs are available by request, subject to availability, and may incur an additional fee.

• Longer stays: Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as the fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.

• Cancellations: Please check the cancellation policy on your booking platform. Please note that even if you are eligible for a full refund and a free cancellation, a credit card processing fee will be deducted.
